A chess game usually consists of three phases: opening, middlegame, and endgame. Each phase has particular characteristics, so studying and training them should be approached with specific techniques.

While there is a vast literature addressing the different phases of the game and explaining the ideas and strategies to consider in each, it is also true that to assimilate learning, it is necessary to put theoretical knowledge into practice.

There are many tools that assist in exhaustive opening training, however, there are not as many focused on endgame training, and those that exist have certain deficiencies that it would be desirable to address.

Taking advantage of the existence of tablebases - databases with precalculated evaluations of endgame positions - (i.e. Syzygy) and an extensive and well-organized catalog of positions, a web application is presented to assist in chess endgame training, providing the player with the opportunity to practice against a "perfect" opponent, testing the theoretical knowledge previously acquired.

Here, you have access to a functional and highly configurable web application that offers a comprehensive range of positions for training. Additionally, it is responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, and since it is a Progressive Web Application (PWA), it can be used both online and offline.

In conclusion, the application offers a valuable tool for chess endgame training, with unique features that provide added value for active practice in the chess learning process.
